Lease Accounting and Management System – Version 2.0 

Version 2.0 of the Lease Accounting and Management System is now available.  This new version of our lease accounting system is packed full with new processes, new data fields, report sort options, and lots of behind the scene changes.  We’ve been listening to all the suggestions made by our customer base and have processed over 300 software modification requests - all of them packed into this new and exciting version.  Here are a few of the things we’ve done in the 2.0 version. 

  • Posting Journal Report and Lease History Inquiry now contain the User I.D. of the operator posting the transaction
  • Released assets will now carry the same lease number through each release.  An extension will be used to distinguish between the various leases associated with the asset
  • Name fields can be parsed to last, first, middle and suffix for better credit bureau reporting capabilities
  • Added Doing Business As (DBA) fields for the Lessee
  • Zip code fields can now contain alpha/numeric characters so Canadian addresses can be entered
  • Added bank account numbers and ABA numbers for the Lessee
  • Added Credit Score and Credit Ratings fields for the Lessee and all Guarantors
  • Added four more Guarantors per lease account
  • Delinquency notices can now be sent to guarantors
  • Added an additional insurance policy
  • Policy types, status codes, and exception override capabilities have been added for each insurance policy
  • Comma-delimited files can be created for invoice and coupon data
  • Tax rates have been increased to four decimal places
  • Collection, Insurance, Title Remarks/Notes have been increased from 60 characters to 300 per remark/note
  • A General Lease Remarks/Notes program has been created
  • Lease history and remark/note information can be retrieved within date ranges in the Data Extract system
  • Report processing speeds have been increased
